AE&E Network Engineer

 

This position is for a full time or contract employee for the initial duration of a year.  Positive performance will extend the contract well behind the initial year. This position involves some travel and requires experience in designing and engineering Cisco network solutions. This team member will install Cisco networks with leading edge products and technologies.  Good communication skills and experience in working in a professional environment. Must work in a team environment and interface frequently with members of own team and of other teams as well as interfacing with a variety of vendors. Must have experience engineering Cisco solutions in large enterprise environment. 

 

 

Requirements:

 

Cisco Certified
Experience with large network design
Knowledge of Cisco Cat650X IOS based switches
Cisco 3750 switches
Cisco 1200 Access Points
Checkpoint, PIX, and FWSM Firewalls
Cisco Works

 

Knowledge of Network Protocols

DNS, 802.1x, TCP, UDP, SNMP, EAP, RADIUS, EIGRP, NTP, and ICMP
